Our 22nd Street self storage location in Norfolk, Virginia is steeped in history. It was originally built more than 100 years ago as a tobacco warehouse. It's location, adjacent to the Norfolk and Western Railroad, was ideal. Later in it's life, it served as a peanut warehouse. As so often it happens, the building passed from owner to owner and fell on hard times. In 1985, it was purchased, renovated and converted into Norfolk's first multi-story self storage facility with more than 320 rooms to serve the downtown Norfolk area.
